Ever since first picking up a saxophone in elementary school, I began to jot down ideas that would be put together to make songs. In high school I spent hours programming songs on my Yamaha PSR-330.

Recently I completed a Masters of Fine Arts in Music Composition for the Screen under the direction of Andy Hill. Now I find myself busy writing music for film, the concert hall, and a wide variety of other settings. With a background in jazz, and extensive training in orchestration, I always bring my own particular sound.

I am currently looking for commissions; for more information please contact info@chrisbeckstrom.com
