Not every outing requires a long written narrative. Sometimes pictures can convey the experience just fine; They can tell a pleasant story while hiding the occasionally frustrating details of fishing.
Not pictured: the huge patch of poison ivy I went through head first, the handful of small trout I caught that “self-released” before I could snap a picture, the one keeper brown I caught on my second cast, me cleaning and deboning said trout, the spinner that caught on a tree and plopped into the water when I tried to free it, and my extremely leaky waders
