I like to tinker, whether it’s analog circuits or CSS code. Since I launched the newest version of my website this past March, it’s been more or less permanently under construction. A while back I started learning PHP, thinking that it would help me learn to code, and be useful in tweaking all those web apps that use PHP – web apps like WordPress, which is the software running this website. My PHP knowledge is proving very handy as I sculpt this site! I don’t have to rely on plugins for everything because I can simply edit the PHP code.
Lately I’ve been updating the CSS – the code that controls how the website looks (fonts, colors, sizes, white space, etc) – and am pretty happy with the current look. I’m sure I’ll change it soon, but in its current iteration I think it’s pretty easy to find stuff and read stuff.
