I’ve been building a new synthesizer in an old roller skating case. I wanted something that is small, mostly analog, modular, makes really weird sounds, and can be run on battery power. Here it is!

Just experimenting with the sounds it can make. In this patch I’m using an analog joystick I took out of an old PlayStation 2 controller as the main controller. I’m not sure why the video recorded so weirdly, but hey, there’s a nice black frame around my video. It’s taken some time to put together an assortment of modules that can work together to create something interesting. This is my first patch that uses most of my modules.

I’ll be sharing more about this project, including circuits and more detailed information about this machine. Stay tuned! In the meantime, check out the Lunetta subforum on electro-music.com: it’s the greatest source of information about machines like this on the internet! http://electro-music.com/forum/index.php?f=160
